The CRITICAL Components of Homeowners Insurance

It's what's on the inside of the policy that counts!

Do you know the most important items to look for when you're buying homeowners insurance?  Too many people get focused on the front page of a policy which lists the premium amount and the face amount of coverage.

"It's the INSIDE of the policy that counts not the front," says AnCap Insurance's President Frank Capparelle, Sr. "While every front policy page can look the same, it's what is on the inside that counts!"

According to Frank, the four features that every homeowners insurance policy should have are:

  1. Mold coverage
  2. Personal injury
  3. Sewer backup
  4. Identity theft

It's important to talk about how much coverage that you need, and how much that you have, for the following items:

  1. Jewelry and/or furs (as part of the policy)
  2. Silver and/or gold
  3. Money and coins
  4. Business personal property
  5. Firearms
  6. Exclusions
  7. Replacement cost on the dwelling

Homeowners protection lets you sleep at night knowing that you have financially protected your home and all that's inside against unforeseen disaster.  "Remember. Just like all red cars aren't the same, neither are homeowners insurance policies," reminds Frank.  "It's what's inside the car - and the policy - that counts."
